Information for Prospective Authors and Calls for Papers

Composers, musicians and researchers are invited to send us proposals and papers for publication consideration in Leonardo Music Journal. The calls-for-papers listed below are intended to create an identifiable focus for each issue, but should not be regarded as a limited set of assigned topics or as specific questions to be answered. They should serve instead as springboards for personally relevant writing and are open to individual interpretation.

CALL FOR PAPERS: LMJ20: Improvisation (2010)

For Volume 20 of the Leonardo Music Journal we welcome papers on aspects of improvisation in music, art and the general realm of decision-making – especially texts addressing the interplay of improvisation and technology.
